About Christian Malone:
Christian Malone started a 55 gallon fish-only marine aquarium 15yrs ago and has kept everything from a 150 gallon down to 1/3 gallon and currently has nano and pico sized aquariums. Learning about marine fish and coral by working in a local fish store, as an aquarist assistant for the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and owning his own aquarium consulting business; he will share both the principals and best practices to starting a simple marine fish and or coral reef aquarium on any budget.
Christian has had some cool jobs such as an Aquarist Assistant at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, building castles at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, starting an aquarium business, working with supercomputers at NASA, creating a new business group within Chesapeake Systems, and managing broadcast accounts at Apple.
He currently lives in Annapolis, works in Baltimore, kiteboards in the Chesapeake Bay, feeds his fish and makes his wife laugh at least once a day, and tries not to write about himself in the 3rd person too often.
