Lessons from Ruby the Dog
a.k.a. good communication is an Instinct.. I just got my first dog about a year ago, a little yorkie. As a marketing consultant, communication is paramount and it struck me how communicating to my dog and understanding how she communicates to me has so many parallels with good communication at work. For example, relevance (if it doesn't yield my dog a reward she won't listen), credibility (after a while, when she gets me up just to get a treat instead of to go potty, I tend to ignore her).
